Senior Associate - Sales - Organization Development & Effectiveness Practise Team (7-10 yrs)
Job Title: Senior Associate
Business Group/Team: Organization Development and Effectiveness (ODE) / Global Consulting Practice
Position Summary & Key responsibilities
The Associate / Senior Associate will be part of the - Organization Development and Effectiveness- (ODE) portfolio & practice in India, a Global Consulting Practice, a specialized team focused on bringing cross-line-of-business strategic and operational capabilities to the clients. He/ She will work as part of this broader team setting.
Typical work activities will include hunting for & selling across the full suite of Mercer's Talent, Health & benefits, Investments and Retirement capabilities. He/she will conduct various activities required to win new business and business development.
This will include
- Focus on looking for new business opportunities including expanding work or offering other products & services opportunities to existing clients.
- Research & monitor organizations for likely business opportunities including expanding engagements in existing Client organizations.
- Work with team in building proposals and presentation of the same to key stakeholders in organizations to win business.
- Support in promotional or marketing activities for business development.
- Connecting with key stakeholders & decision makers in Client organizations to sell across the full suite of Mercer's Talent, Health & benefits, Investments, and Retirement capabilities
- Ensure a client-centric approach and prospect with disciplined use of Mercer methodologies and tools. This will include client plans, disciplined pitches, client satisfaction and leveraging insights and resources to drive referrals.
- Capitalize on new business opportunities and strengthen Mercer's brand in India
He/she will liaise & work together with ODE colleagues of the International Region or other geographies as & when required to together sell & win business in Multinational Client organizations.
These range of duties/activities are varied and whilst key responsibilities are expressed here they include the flexible execution of additional consulting, analytical and operational tasks as reasonably expected from time to time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education: Graduate MBA from a reputed institution, Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce or Economics.
Experience: 7-10 years for a Sr. Associate
Skills & Abilities:
- A self-starter, with strong business development & selling orientation and experience. Selling experience in a B2B consulting environment will be an advantage
- Understanding & ability to sell Multi-line Service offerings
- Multi-industry/ Cross-functional exposure
- Ability to understand organizations, their businesses, and the ability to understanding their current and future needs
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders in organizations.
- Work with team members & leaders within India and in the extended ODE /Global Consulting team including working with business consultants etc.
- Achievement-oriented with strong ability to deliver & meet Sales & business development targets
