Senior Associate Manager - Sales - Advisory & Support Services (3-4 yrs)
Job Description:
- Provide advisory and support services to program portfolio companies
- Consult start-ups on their business and financials when needed
- Perform ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, including regular update reviews and other key performance indicators
- Facilitate investments and support start-ups in their fundraising
- Monitor business performance of portfolio start-ups, liaison with other stakeholders and provide industry connects
- Interact and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, mentors and investors
- Create timely portfolio update reports
- Deal scouting and analysis for new investment and incubation opportunities
- Create and support the creation of thought leadership content in the domain
Key Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving approach
- Ability to identify and deliver new ideas to address key challenges
- Self-motivated and ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self
- Communication and persuasion skills with the ability to think quickly
- Excellent spreadsheet and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge & understanding of financial technology / financial inclusion sector would be an added advantage
Qualification/Experience Required:
- Post Graduate degree in Management
- 3 years of experience working in strategy, sales, investments, or program management roles
- Experience as a founder or with early-stage VC firms, startups and startup related organizations is preferred
