Senior Associate - Business Development - Media (2-6 yrs)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Associate Business Development with experience in the Media and Entertainment industry, particularly someone familiar with production houses. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to generating leads, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and generate new leads, with a focus on production houses and media clients, through industry networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Qualify potential clients to ensure alignment with the company's service offerings.
2. Client Engagement:
- Attend initial meetings with prospective clients to introduce the firm's Production Audit and Accounting services.
- Leverage industry knowledge and connections to build trust and establish strong client relationships.
- Arrange follow-up meetings and facilitate discussions to advance the sales process.
3. Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base within the Media and Entertainment sector.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and ensure timely follow-ups to convert leads into clients.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams to understand the technical aspects of services and effectively communicate them to clients.
- Coordinate with senior management to structure proposals and finalize agreements.
5. Market Research and Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market demands, specifically in the Media and Entertainment sector, to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the leadership team for service improvement and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, with a strong preference for candidates from the Media and Entertainment industry.
- Existing network within production houses and familiarity with their operational workflows.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
