Senior Account Executive - Social Media (4-5 yrs)

Objectives of this Role

- The Senior Account Executive serves as a primary, day-to-day client contact, providing ad hoc counsel and guidance, and often manages the flow of work and information to the account team, serving as a role model to other team members.

- This individual must maintain a thorough understanding of the clients- business and industry, and understand how to translate it into solid communications and marketing counsel to different levels of client contacts.

- Those in this role interpret and implement strategic plans for clients in conjunction with other team members.
 
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities : 

- Work with clients to create a social media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR, and advertising campaigns

- Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients' industries.

- Digital campaign creation and execution, diverting traffic, follow-ups, and regular reporting.

- Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience.

- Create and manage Facebook, Instagram and Twitter advertising campaigns for clients- industries.

- Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand.

- Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc.)

- Proposing and implementing new digital ideas and product offerings

- Stay current with social media trends and tools - includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.

- Client liaison and relationship development.

- Explore new opportunities to take to clients.

- Helping advise the wider team on digital optimization.

- Explore new measurement tools that are external and make a recommendation to the internal team.

- Help internal team members on some of the best practices

- Maintain reports of the activities regularly.

- Proofread and edit client-related documents as needed.

- Draft client call agendas; participating actively in all client meetings and calls.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.

- Preferably a communications or literature graduate or experience working within a PR agency.

- Proven experience with social media community management, creation of new pages, and analytics.

- Strong client liaison skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations and delivery timelines.
