Hiring SEO Specialist (PART-TIME)

Ready to work 15-20 hours per week

1. Work closely with editorial team to drive audience growth and increased engagement through SEO.

2. Work with our Technical team for performance data into strategic insights

3. Use keyword research and SEO best practices to work on content optimization

4. Contribute to an SEO Calendar with topics, content ideas, and other strategic notes if possible

5. Reporting to work on

6. Monitor the performance of articles using real-time analytics tools and make strategic SEO decisions based on that data and real-time Google Rankings

7. At least 2-4 years of experience in growing SEO organically for a start-up company .

8. Ability to perform keyword and trend research to identify what keywords and topics to target, as well as make this accessible for editorial teams

9. Expert ability to optimize content using SEO tools such as Google Trends and other SERP tools including top stories and organic search.

10. Proven experience in developing and contributing to search-oriented content strategy.

11. Familiarity with the Journal's brand, content offerings, and various digital/print platforms.

12. Works with ethical practices and doing white hat SEO and no shortcuts

13. Plan, develop and implement our SEO strategy.

14. Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.

15. Regularly perform thorough keywords research.

16. Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy.

17. Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building).

18. Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects.

19. Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices.

Deliverables :

- Manage 2 -3 sites for on page optimization

- Manage off site optimization

- Improve site ranking DA and Moz ranking

- Use of SEMrush

- Correcting and updating post tags / Images alt text etc

- Keyword research and Ranking

- Google search console.
