Search Engine Optimization Specialist (5-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Technical SEO Audits: Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues like broken links, crawl errors, and indexation problems.
- Mobile SEO Optimization: Ensure SEO strategies are optimized for mobile search, given the increasing use of mobile devices for search.
- Core Web Vitals: Focus on improving website performance in line with Google's Core Web Vitals metrics (loading, interactivity, visual stability) for better rankings.
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 5 yrs of work experience
- Proven SEO experience
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, ComScore, SimilarWeb)
- Hand on knowledge on Google Search Console, Google News, Google Search etc.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
- Experience with CMS Platforms: Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Magento, Custom CMS, or Shopify to optimize SEO directly in the platform
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Strong skills in reporting and data analysis to assess the impact of SEO strategies using platforms like Google Data Studio or Tableau.
- A/B Testing: Experience conducting A/B testing on landing pages and content to determine what works best for SEO.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, designers, product teams) to achieve SEO objectives.
