Search Engine Optimization Specialist (3-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development:
- Design and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and enhance user engagement.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-potential search terms and optimize content accordingly.
On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking, to ensure best practices in on-page SEO.
- Ensure website structure, HTML, and CSS are optimized for search engine crawling and indexing.
Off-Page Optimization:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles, ensuring high-quality and relevant inbound links.
Technical SEO:
- Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve issues related to site speed, mobile- friendliness, crawl errors, and indexation.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements and ensure site performance is optimized.
Content Optimization:
- Work closely with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content, including blogs, articles, and landing pages.
- Ensure that all content is optimized for targeted keywords and aligns with overall SEO strategy.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to monitor website performance, traffic, and rankings.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in SEO strategy.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms to adapt strategies as needed.
SEM Integration:
- Collaborate with the SEM team to ensure SEO and paid search efforts are aligned and mutually supportive.
- Analyze and optimize PPC campaigns to improve ROI and reduce cost per acquisition (CPA).
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, content, and web development teams to ensure a unified approach to SEO and digital marketing.
- Provide training and guidance on SEO best practices to team members as needed.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Experiment with new tools, techniques, and strategies to improve SEO performance.
Preferred Skills:
SEO Tools: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.
Google Analytics & Search Console: Strong experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
HTML/CSS Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for on-page SEO optimization.
Content Management Systems: Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
