SDP Labs - Product Marketing Manager (5-7 yrs)
Skills:
- Develop product messaging that differentiates our product from others in the market
- Communicate the value of our product and new features to the team and develop strategies that facilitate the marketing process.
- Plan and take part in the launch of new features and involve several different departments in such launches
- Through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data, gain insight into customer use of current product, untapped opportunities and buyer personas
- Establish timescales for development of new features with Product Analyst, Engineers and Testers.
- Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
- Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences
- Research competitor offerings and react when appropriate
- Groom and develop a team of product marketing executives
- Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
- Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies
- Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
- Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
- Test marketing product's features, releases and ad copy;
- Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
