Scale Up - Business Development Executive - B2B/B2C Division (1-5 yrs)
ScaleUp is looking for a Business Development Executive(s) for its B2B (corporate) and B2C (private) business division. The position requires an entrepreneur mind-set with complete, end-to-end ownership towards the business development function. It's a great opportunity to work in a start-up culture - work whenever, wherever with full autonomy, complete responsibility and focus on outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Be part of the future strategy of the company in products offerings and business expansion
- Oversee the brand building and management
- Research market conditions, competitor data and prospective customers.
- Lead Generation and Management
- Actively seek and conduct meetings and presentations with potential clients
- Active participation in business networking events (seminars, meetup, etc.) and enhancing client network
- Interact directly with customers to promote ScaleUp offerings as well as maintain existing customer relations
- Research current trends in the industry (eLearning, Webinars, etc.) and come up with strategy for business growth
- Updating/Maintaining the CRM database
- Create marketing materials and portfolio write-up
- Understand and articulate the company's value proposition to our customers/prospects
- Perform pre-sales activities, closely work with client's learning and development teams for gathering training requirements
- Identify and develop potential business partners and grow existing client relationships
- Execute sales plan by initiating client meetings, responding to client calls, conducting scoping discussions, etc.

- Ability to write succinct, creative, engaging and fun-filled contents
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Qualifications and Prior Experience
- Minimum education qualification: Post-Graduation (or equivalent) in marketing, operations, communications and/or public relations.
- Minimum 1-year recent experience in business development is a must.
- Industry experience in IT Services, Education Management and/ or Learning & Development (L&D) is a huge plus.
