Saveo is a managed marketplace bringing primary & secondary medicine market together, offering faster delivery, cheaper procurement & better technology to pharmacies. It runs with an aim that no prescription shall bounce in India. Pharmacy in itself is a living organism having requirements at different fronts : acquisition of new customers, retaining customers, managing inventory, managing suppliers, finances etc.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Identifying & developing profound and long-standing relationship with brands, suppliers & vendors (sourcing options) by assessing the market, supplier positioning, determination the go-to-market strategy, and developing a business case. This relationship will be initiated from a strategic standpoint up till the tactical execution
- Consumer insights: Deeply understand customer behavior through market research, inputs for brand positioning & product planning and develop new customer base, wherever possible
- Research and analyse data and market insights. Have an in-depth knowledge of competition, and vendor-base
- Expertise to drive an inventory led & marketplace led model in parallel
- Build long term strategic alliance with portfolio of accounts that would continue to add value and promote service offerings alongside developing relationship with key pharmacies
- Develop and manage a fulfilment strategy with the brands to ensure best product selection along with the optimal cost and service
- Executing supplier relationship management to ensure continuous improvement and innovation, best in class pricing, product and service quality, etc.
- Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its availability, visibility by providing adequate trainings/ demonstrations
- Ownership of category planning via product roadmap, inventory planning & deployment
- Driving Campaigns under the guideline of the company's strategy & regularly track stock and sales movement etc.
- Ensuring proper promotion of One Touch products, visibility of Pharmacy outlets
Requirements :
- Graduate in relevant stream with 4 years of progressive business experience in sourcing/supplier/category management in Pharma B2B (Retail/ Wholesale)
- Should have worked with B2B clients towards trading side of B2B
- Supplier and contract management experience along with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Must have experience in managing a team
- Self-starter and independent worker with strong results orientation
- Enthusiastic, openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive, who possesses a strong analytical bent of mind
- Experience of planning comprehensive roadmaps to achieve shared goals
