Sattva - Manager - Sales (6-7 yrs)
What we need :
We are seeking experienced Sales Managers who are entrepreneurial, analytical and excellent at managing client relationships. As an Impact first company, our Sales team is the first point of contact with the client and play a critical role in ensuring projects are designed in the most impactful way. Hence we seek Sales Managers who are as driven by impact as they are by targets.
Primary Role :
The Sales Manager will be an integral part of Sattva's Sales team with a strong focus on growing the CSR Market in the West Region.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for :
- Develop measurable quarter-wise plans based on region strategy to track sales performance and present realistic revenue forecasts to the management team
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by growing existing relationships and on-boarding new customer relationships
- Build strong lasting relationships with customers as a trusted partner and work closely with the delivery team to the needs of the customer
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Represent Sattva at key forums, conferences, events to build our network and generate potential leads
- Work with the region head to develop the strategy for account development
- Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, delivery teams to develop proposals/ pitches for new opportunities
- Strengthen the Sales Intelligence by sharing insights with the team on additional parameters to measure performance and market, analyses to support regional plans
Key Accountabilities :

Following are the key requirements for the candidates applying to this role,
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Consulting/B2B sales
- Ability to approach sales in a consultative way and creating mutual value to stakeholders involved
- Strong interest to work in the social impact sector, to help build the bridge between business and society
- Experience in client engagement
- Entrepreneurial skills with ability to forecast and take desired actions in an agile manner
- Highly adaptable to unforeseen circumstances
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel
- Self-driven and motivated, can take ownership and independently execute on projects
Desired competencies :
- Knowledge of the development landscape in India and around the world, including an in-depth understanding of the roles of various stakeholders (government, academia, international institutions, foundations, non-profit and corporate organizations) is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power-Point) and social networking applications
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Highly entrepreneurial
Department and Reporting :
The Sales Manager for the West Region will be working in the Sales function of Sattva and will be reporting to the Head of Sales.
