Position Description :

We are looking for someone with very strong writing skills to take up the role of Content Writer. The position will be based in its Head Office (HO) Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following :

Roles & responsibilities :

- Take the initiatives to research the industry, competitors and the target audience.

- Responsible for writing content for website, portals, blogs, articles etc.

- Developing & compiling original content (whitepapers, mailers, banners, web content, News Letter, articles, presentations, Blog, press release etc.)

- Assist marketing team in online marketing campaign strategy and content while working closely with web designers on page layout, content organization, and graphics.

- To keep a Quality Check - Edit content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, readability, consistency, and coherence.

- To compose the information of all the internal and external information generated by the marketing department.

- To develop content for the website and other related corporate sites.

- Writing product descriptions, brand support material etc.

- Develop content for monthly magazines and editorials.

- To keep a strong check on amendment and updating of the content or facts/figures displayed on the website or any other source.

- Closely work with the social media personnel so as to understand the content requirement and hence contribute to enhancing the social media presence.

- To develop a deep understanding of the industry, products and its key leaders to come up with more effective, precise and subtle content.

- To ensure the consistency and the accuracy of the information of the company to the audience.

Academic and Professional Qualifications :

- Masters degree/diploma in Mass Communication or Public Relations.

- Any certification in content writing or development will be an add-on.

- Exposure towards documentation tools like Robo help, Adobe frame maker etc will be a plus point.

Work Experience :

- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in professional content writing.

- Any freelancing experience of developing creative content is also considerable.

- Any exposure of managing campus dairies or writing content for its college web portal.

- Freshers with outstanding communication skills and an inclination towards writing are also considerable.

Desired Skills & competencies :

- Excellent proficiency in English and Hindi (verbal & written).

- Knowledge of other foreign languages will be an add-on.

- Good at research works and its documentation.

Personal Characteristics :

- Should be proactive in developing a comprehensive understanding of the product, the people and the processes involved in making JAIPUR a success story.

- Must have empathy, love, and compassion as an integral part of his/her self - then only the person will be able to lead the presented portfolio in its entirety

- A firm believer and practitioner of organizational philosophy, values, and culture so as to imbibe that it his/her writings.
