Sarda Group - Manager - Sales & Marketing - Bidi (10-25 yrs)
Role and the Person:
The position is at the senior management level, accordingly, the purpose and critical functions would be as follows:
SBU Purpose:
- To sustain the socio-economic well-being of bidi rollers
Function (Dept) Purpose:
- To optimize marketing and sales system to sustained maximization of revenue
Role Purpose:
- To ensure and enable synchronization of structures, processes, systems, and infrastructure for sustainable revenue maximization
The Key Expectations of the Role:
- Revenue and cost as per plan
- Effective and sustainable distribution channels
- Decentralised (evidence-based) decision-making environment
The Competencies required to effectively take on this role:
- Knowledge of marketing and sales of FMCG products
- Understanding of traditional distribution channels
- Functioning through formalized systems, processes, and structures
- Engagement as the basis of stakeholder interaction
- Sensitivity to evidence-based-change of hypotheses
The Person:
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Managerial work-experience of 10 years in marketing and sales, including distribution (at least 10 years) in a medium-sized FMCG organization
