Sapience Automata(https://sapienceautomata.com/) is an AI-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV) technology provider. The company provides predictive collision warning systems, anti-sleep alarm, critical video recording, fatigue detection, GPS location, enabling users to prevent road accidents caused by distraction, drowsy driving and unpredictable road user behaviour.

About the role :

BDM will be responsible to shape sales and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting sales strategy, building customer and partner relationships and negotiating complex deals.

Responsibilities:

- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.

- Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reach out, onboarding, activation and expansion.

- Evangelize the product and personally help close larger deals.

- Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing.

- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives.

- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers and strategic partners both externally and internally.

Candidate requirements :

- A bachelor's/ master's degree in business administration, marketing or an equivalent field.

- 5+ years of experience in Business Development.

- Proven record of success in business development, excellent track record of scaling revenue, managing end to end sales operations and client/partner relations, from lead generation to conversion, after-sales support and client account management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Superb leadership ability.

- Any past background of Automotive (OEM, aftermarket products, fleets, insurance, bus marketplace e.g., Redbus, logistics etc.) and startup experience will be a plus.
