Santophy Infotech - Manager - Business Development (2-4 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
1. Market Analysis and Strategy :
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Evaluate and prioritize potential business partnerships.
2. Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients.
3. Team Leadership :
- Lead and motivate a team of business development professionals.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members achieve their targets.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
4. Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other methods.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients.
5. Collaboration and Communication :
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and finance.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on business development strategies.
- Provide regular updates on business development activities and results.
6. Budget Management :
- Develop and manage the business development budget.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in achieving business objectives.
7. Performance Measurement :
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business development team.
- Regularly assess and report on the team's performance against these KPIs.
- Implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
