Sales Trader - Institutional Equities (8-10 yrs)
- Responsible for generating revenue for the company by providing seamless and risk-free trading & execution related services to Institutional Funds
- Incumbents in this role maintain existing relationships with trading counterparts across geographies and build new relationships
- Role requires extensive partnering with different verticals of the business to draw synergies, enhance the client service quality and to tap potential business opportunities for the client.
Responsibilities:-
- Hiring / Mentoring new sales traders & dealers
- Providing trading counterparts at the Fund Houses with market updates and trends & portfolio based ideas
- Providing advice on entry / exit points in stocks during the day or over the short term
- Providing seamless and risk-free trading & execution services
- Generating technical & fundamentals trading ideas
- Travel overseas for client visits and informal meetings
Required Candidate Skills:-
MBA in Finance
- 8 - 10 years (with 4 to 5 years of client management experience)
- Sound understanding of Indian equities markets, trading and settlement processes
- Understanding how financials / valuations and other factors such as overflow of bonds, currency & other markets (Electronic Traded Funds, Benchmarks etc) impact the stock markets
- NSE certification in Financial markets
- Knowledge of trading platforms
- Knowledge of Algorithm trading
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg
