Sales Specialist - Insurance (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
As insurance's business development lead, you will :
- Interact with clients, understand their requirements and recommend coverage that is best suited to their needs.
- Scour the market for growth opportunities, be involved in planning and execution of growth strategy
- Ensure quality customer servicing and communication
- Manage client queries and grievances.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, and other third parties relevant to the business development (PoSPs, banks etc.)
- Build and manage a team of insurance executives; train and monitor their performance.
- (Daily management) Coordinate, allocate work, measure service parameters
- Create MIS/dashboards and performance reports for relevant stakeholders
- Create and monitor service metrics for individual team members.
- Ensure minimum productivity and delivery of service parameters agreed for each and every team member, training the team members who needs help to improve the agreed service metrics
- Publish departmental updates on a monthly basis to the management
- Identify avenues and projects for improving efficiency
- Prepare data and reports for compliance or audit reporting and Board meetings.
- Support all the regulatory reporting
- Oversee inward and archival file management
Skills :
- Excellent communication skills : Fluent in: English, Telugu and Hindi.
- Leadership : Ability to build a team, train and motivate team members
- Excellent analytical skills : ability to analyze policy wording, market conditions, competition etc. and make decisions accordingly
- Ability to undertake projects with minimal supervision
- Problem solving and trouble-shooting in day-to-day activities
- Expert in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) & handling data
- Be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- You are a self-starter, and willing to continuously work towards improvement of yourself, team members and the processes
