Sales Role - Veterinary Division - Diagnostic Equipment (2-3 yrs)
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling diagnostic equipment to veterinarians and animal husbandry departments within the government sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, establishing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our products and a techno-commercial approach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and target potential clients within the veterinary community, including private practices, clinics, and government animal husbandry departments.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand the specific needs and preferences of clients.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust and reliability.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to clients.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable diagnostic equipment solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of the technical features and benefits.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales proposals and quotations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant regulations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's presence and network with key stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in selling diagnostic equipment to veterinarians and government animal husbandry departments.
- Excellent knowledge of the veterinary market and government procurement processes.
- Strong network of clients within the veterinary and animal husbandry sector.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical background or knowledge to understand the technical aspects of diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to present and explain technical information to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events
