Sales Role - Spices (5-15 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the spices industry with a focus on products like red chilli, turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper.

- The ideal candidate will excel in both domestic and international sales, effectively driving revenue growth and building lasting relationships in diverse markets.

- Candidate should have prior experience and focus in working in the geographies and markets of GCC, South East Asia.

- This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of spice products and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company targets for domestic and international spice sales.

2. Proficient in the field of spices should have good command and knowledge of whole and powdered spices like red chilli, turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper along with blended spices

3. Candidates should have prior experience working in international markets, particularly in countries such as UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Indonesia, China, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia

4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across local and global markets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to foster long-term collaboration.

6. Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.

7. Focus on driving sales, profitability, timely payments from buyers with best margins

8. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

9. Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in sales management, specifically within the spice industry or food products.

3. Strong knowledge of international sales processes, regulations, and cultural considerations.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

6. Willingness to travel as required.
