Sales Role - Rotating Equipment (2-4 yrs)
We are Hiring for Sales Engineer in Chennai.
Position - Sales Engineer (In-House)
Experience : 2 years to 5 years of experience in Rotating Equipment preferable Screw Pumps.
Qualification : Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
Location - Chennai region
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Good Technical knowledge of Rotating Equipment preferable Screw Pumps.
- Experience in Bidding / Tendering etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office & CRM Software.
Job Description :
- Handle proposals supported by risk assessment, cash flow, scope of supply definition,responsibility matrix and project schedule.
- Review RFQ documents- MR/Scope of supply/Spec sheets to prepare competitive pump selection and Techno commercial Proposal.
- Prepare Preliminary Project Plan & Schedule /Spec Log/Sizing & Selection /Costing Sheet/Adding FAB Sheet according to selected Design.
- Estimate the time required for the proposal, indicate the required resources to deliver the proposal, prepare a proposal schedule.
- Closely cooperate with Pursuit Leaders and Key Account Managers, systems integrators and other departments to compile estimates, drawings, project plans and other necessary evidence of Leistritz capabilities in the generation of competitive and accurate proposals.
- Responsible for the co- ordination and review proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, such as: Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Product teams (R&D), Marketing.
- Attend technical Pre- bid meeting, after bid clear pre- qualification of tender with sales team
- Prepare Request for quotations (RFQ) for bought outs - Drivers, Mechanical Seals and Systems,Valves and other Major accessories required for Project requirements.
- Negotiate with the sub vendors for the best product & price to meet the customer Requirement and to make competitive bid
- Engage in customers- technical discussions and extend technical support to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Liaison with principals Engineering and costing team to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled in time with right product
- Flexible to travel to customer sites to resolve technical queries and to attend Technical & kick- off meetings, clarifications, site surveys, proposal development and review meetings in accordance with the agreed sales and proposal strategies
- Creating and maintaining offer log and to prepare reports as desired by sales team and management
