Sales Role - Pharma (3-8 yrs)
Position Summary:
- Sales Representative is responsible for the growth of revenue by proactive sales of the product portfolio in their territory and developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for their assigned customer base.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Grow the sales revenue from existing and new customers
- Actively convert competitors business and create opportunities in new projects/processes and products of the customers
- Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate
- Increase the sales revenue of assigned territory
- Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business in an account
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory
- Reduce and control account receivables in the territory
- Create Account plans and track customer's product pipeline
- Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business
- Feed market information through prescribed sales reports
- Manage and build customer relationships for a long term partnership
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Chemical/ Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ related field. Masters or higher degree is preferential
Experience: 3 - 5 years- experience in the above mentioned products sales or related fields
Working Conditions/Environment (work schedules, travel, etc.):
The job requires extensive domestic travel in the territory. Some amount of international travel is possible for training/ meetings
