Sales Role - IT Hardware (3-9 yrs)
Channel Sales
Role & responsibility :
- Responsible for tier 3 market (stockiest/Reseller) sales of Wireless, Network, Switches, POE products.
- Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory.
- Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
- Analyse market trends, competition activity/sales and accordingly provide feedback to reporting manager to increase brand visibility & sales.
- Educate partners about product portfolio.
- Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
- Stay updated with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
- Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
- Conduct partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
Qualification Requirements :
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience.
- Graduate degree in any discipline
- Good understanding of IT hardware & Networking industry.
- Basic Technical knowledge in Networking & Wireless Solution
- Proven channel sales experience; region/market-specific sales experience is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build lasting relationships.
- Essential working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
