Tech Sales Representative - Software Products

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Tech Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities for our software products. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach.

- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.

2. Client Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business challenges.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing product information.

3. Sales Presentations and Demos

- Deliver compelling presentations and software demonstrations to showcase product value.

- Customize presentations to align with client needs and industry challenges.

4. Solution Selling

- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate software solutions.

- Highlight unique product features and competitive advantages to drive purchase decisions.

5. Negotiation and Closing Deals

- Develop proposals and negotiate terms to secure contracts.

- Work towards achieving or exceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets.

6. Market Intelligence

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for product improvements and campaign strategies.

7. Post-Sales Support

- Collaborate with customer success and technical teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process.

- Maintain long-term client satisfaction to promote renewals and upselling opportunities.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related fields.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in tech/software sales.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

- Technical Skills:

- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

- Basic understanding of SaaS products, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative sales approach.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
