Sales Role - IT (2-3 yrs)
Pre Sales Security Managers are responsible for analyzing market data to determine the ideal customer for a given product. This is one of their most important duties, as the success of their sales pitch depends largely on the accuracy of their analysis and help their sales team qualify leads by using their deep understanding of the product's ideal customer pain points.
Responsibilities :
- Deep understanding of infrastructure (data center, network & end user computing) security/cloud security/managed security services/security operations center/compliance & risk management /data security & threat management
- Commercial/Business Finance Understanding and acumen
- Knowledge of security products from leading OEMs such as Firewall, 2FA,DLP,SIEM,Backup etc.
- Understanding of cloud security solution and Security architecture and design experience
- Possess knowledge and product expertise on key security technologies such as SOC, DLP, Threat intelligence etc. and solutions and network technologies
- Possess exposure to security software solutions like Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, data protection and monitoring security will be added advantage
- Knowledge on Vulnerability & Threat Management
- Strong industry experience, especially across Indian markets - Product OEM and Partner Relationship Management
- Knowledge and understanding of IT industry especially System Integrations
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the cyber security industry and security solutions landscape
- Conduct technical meetings with customers and partners to highlight our products and solutions.
- Perform design work for end-users, partners, and resellers Hold on-going education sessions with our Partners and perform limited post sales support.
- Lead customer engagements and investigate security gap areas in customer environment to identify problems, complexities and inefficiencies that can be improved;
- Work independently on information security pre-sales activities which includes :
- Understand customer IT/Security infrastructure and business requirement
- Strategic Solution selling
- Solution Presentation
- Participate in conference call discussion
- Solution Demonstration and Proof of Concept
- Business Solution Proposal
- RFI/RFP specification preparation.
- Design and present the best-in-class security solution to mitigate customer risks and threats;
- Conduct Proof of Concept evaluations to implement security solutions, demonstrating the ability to meet client objectives;
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify business opportunities (Funnel Generation) for the Cyber Security product portfolio in the assigned region
- Ensure Funnel to Order Book conversion
- Industry Awareness
- Continuously update self on the global threats and advancements in security, challenges faced, solutions available in the market and key industry players;
- Knowing the given product better than anyone on the sales and marketing teams, which helps create a sales pitch that highlights the product's features and benefits

- Strong knowledge and understanding of the security industry
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
- Ability to cope under pressure and priorities work accordingly
- Good understanding of cloud security solution and Security architecture and design experience
- Knowledge of the security solutions landscape and industry trends
- Cyber Security
- Experience with network security devices/systems such as firewalls, IDS and IPS.
- Aware of types of Malware behaviours.
- Ability to present to a variety of audience from technical to managerial
- Language requirement: fluent in English, excellent communication and personality
Experience :
- 2 - 3 years with Presales in Cyber Security or Computer Networking experience in a large enterprise or related field.
- Technical individuals in developer roles etc. with experience in Cyber Security or Computer Networking fields, comfortable in customer facing role (meeting high level executives etc.), with excellent communication, presentability and presentation skills, interested in this role are also welcome to apply!
