Essential Attributes :
Educational Qualifications :
- Post-Graduation/Graduation in Commerce, Science, or Engineering.
- MBA/Post-graduation is an added advantage.
Age :
- Preferred Age : 35 - 65 years.
Certifications :
- Certification or Accreditation in training or facilitation is an advantage.
Experience :
- 3 to 5 years of training experience.
- Experience working in an insurance company, ideally in customer-facing or intermediary-facing roles.
- Corporate training experience is an advantage.
Insurance Knowledge :
- Certification from IRDA or any reputed insurance training institute.
- Strong understanding of main insurance principles and application.
- Thorough knowledge of personal insurance products (Life and General), underwriting, and claims processing.
Other Attributes :
- Familiarity with various group training methodologies (role plays, group discussions, presentations, peer-to-peer learning, etc.).
- Up-to-date with the latest regulatory developments, including process changes (e.g., eKYC), new insurance products, and technological advancements in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in English and fluent in the regional language, with the ability to explain complex concepts in local language effectively.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly without jargon.

Understanding of Insurance Roles :
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of various functions and roles within an insurance company (e.g., sales manager, bancassurance relationship manager, operations executive, customer service executive).
Training Delivery :
- Impart CPBFI (Certified Professional in Banking and Financial Industry) training according to the existing module.
- Train participants to pitch insurance products based on customer needs.
- Enable participants to visualize the tasks they would be expected to perform in various insurance roles post-training.
Training Methodologies :
- Utilize diverse group training methodologies such as role plays, group discussions, presentations, and peer-to-peer learning to enhance the training experience.
Regulatory Knowledge :
- Stay updated with the latest regulatory changes and developments in the insurance sector and integrate this knowledge into training sessions.
Language Proficiency :
- Conduct training sessions primarily in English while also being capable of explaining complex concepts in the local language to ensure better understanding.
Reporting & Documentation :
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions.
- Document participant progress and feedback.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on training outcomes and areas for improvement.
