Sales Role - Insurance (0-3 yrs)
They play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales department. The Assistant Sales Manager collaborates with the sales team, analyses sales data, provides sales support, and assists in developing and implementing sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing sales strategies, setting sales goals, and monitoring team performance to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs.
- Assist in negotiating and closing sales deals.
- support ongoing sales training and development initiatives.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Manager and team on market dynamics and customer preferences.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and partners, to ensure smooth business operations and explore collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales or a related role, preferably in a managerial or assistant managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to drive revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
- Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer preferences
