Sales Role - Engineering Services (3-5 yrs)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To Understand the product portfolios and capabilities in-house with respect to solution building for clients in discrete material handling applications.
- Make Frequent client visits based on appointments and understand the problem statement with the client and propose an appropriate solution.
- Meet with customers, review jobsites. Develop close customer relationships with Key decision makers in purchasing, engineering, and at the customer end. Must work with estimating to develop pricing and proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Key Responsibilities :
- To Identify prospects based on our existing product Portfolio
- To identify and generate new leads through site visits, Cold calls and emailers, through contacts and references
- To make site/Customer visits and make product presentation and solution development.
- Make regular follow-up on the Leads generated
- Responsible for Negotiations and Liasoning
- Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule with them.
- To identify the customers' needs through RFP or in discussion with the customers.
- Deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers - To interact with potential clients, present organizational capabilities and generate leads based on the gap identified
- To escalate the identified product gaps of the client site to operations team and assist in product building
- To prepare cost estimation by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents in consultation with internal stakeholders.
- Secure and renew orders and ensure on time delivery
- Work simultaneously on multiple sales projects.
- Maintain constructive working relationship with customer.
Requirements/Skills and Abilities :
- Master's in business administration with preferably engineering degree, working level experience of 3-4 years in project sales of system and products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional sales acumen.
- Ability to coordinate tasks in teams of varying sizes.
- Experience with both controls and mechanical technology is preferred.
- Experience in dealing with automation technologies across all industries is preferred
- Proficiency in speaking English and Hindi is preferred.
