Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer specializing in End-User Computing with an added focus on server, storage, and network devices to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in understanding customer needs and providing comprehensive technical solutions. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and sales acumen to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Consultation :
- Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and requirements related to end-user computing, servers, storage, and network devices.
- Provide expert advice on products and solutions that best meet customer needs.
Solution Development :
- Design and develop tailored end-user computing solutions for customers, incorporating server, storage, and network devices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with company capabilities.
Sales Support :
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and prospects.
Customer Engagement :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for technical queries and post-sales support.
Market Insight :
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products in the end-user computing and IT infrastructure space.
Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market trends.
Training and Development :
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal sales teams on end-user computing products, server, storage, and network solutions.
- Develop and update technical content and sales tools.
Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar role with a focus on end-user computing, servers, storage, and network devices.
- Proven track record in pre-sales or technical consulting within the IT industry.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of end-user computing solutions including desktop virtualization, VDI, DaaS, endpoint management, and related technologies.
- Proficiency with server technologies, storage solutions (SAN, NAS), and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Citrix, VMware, and other end-user computing environments.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage tasks and priorities.
- Relevant certifications such as Citrix Certified Professional (CCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, etc.
