Sales Role - Bancassurance Channel - BFSI (1-8 yrs)
Job description:
Bancassurance Sales , in essence, drives insurance sales within a bank's branch network, building relationships with bank employees and customers to promote and sell insurance products, while ensuring compliance and achieving sales targets. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the role:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Motivating bank employees to promote insurance products and generate leads.
- Converting leads into sales by conducting joint calls with bank employees and understanding customer needs.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue generation.
- Implementing customer segment-based product strategies.
- Deriving insurance business from assigned relationship/channel partners.
Relationship Management:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with bank employees and key bank personnel.
- Providing pre and post-sales support and services to both bank partners and clients.
- Escalating and handling customer and bank employee grievances.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of banking and insurance products and processes.
- Training bank staff on insurance products and processes.
- Ensuring adherence to compliance, code of conduct, and market conduct guidelines.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparing and analyzing required consolidated reports for management.
- Tracking performance in various vectors, including business plan, branch seller activation, and persistency.
Other Tasks:
- Identifying and arranging training needs for team members and bank staff.
- Implementing activity management based on company standards.
- Ensuring team members have the necessary logistics to perform their jobs.
- Supporting claims reported and coordinating with bank officials and customers for after-sales service.
Skills and Qualifications:
