Sales Officer - Modern Trade Channel - FMCG (3-5 yrs)
Role/ Designation: Sales Officer
Global Grade Junior Management Staff Function / Dept Sales
Reporting To Key Accounts Manager South Zone
Place of Posting: Kochi Kerala
Role objective:
- To plan and execute activities and deliver the sales budget for the MT /Key Accounts Channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer contact for sales, promotion, operational planning.
- Quarterly review and monitoring of performance with all accounts based out of South Region - Kerala/TN.
- Category management (assortment planning, mapping, listing).
- Service levels delivered to customers (fill rates etc.)
- Volume planning. Manage brand mix as per the goals.
- Monthly analysis / review of primary and sales data of the chains
- Implementation of brand plans as per the activity calendar. Brand activation inputs.
- Supervision of the MT ISRs/promoters and merchandising team.
- Setting of the KRAs and Targets for ISRs/Merchandisers & Promoters
- Development & training of the reporting team Skills/Experience Required
- A graduate with minimum 3 years of prior work experience in a FMCG in the modern trade vertical - Knowledge of basic concepts of consumer goods distribution such as various channel partners, distribution mix, ROI calculation, visibility creation, channel partner management and relationship building.
- Knowledge of competitor mapping and benchmarking.
- Managing Channel partners Budget/Revenue Responsibility Typical annual Sales turnover budget of INR 80 to 90 Cr. Per annum. Desired Experience Level & Qualifications
- 3+ Years in consumer goods distribution in the modern trade team.
- Minimum Qualification Graduate
