Sales Officer - FMCG (4-8 yrs)
Job Objective :
- Responsible for driving and managing domestic sales and distribution for the organization and effective implementation of sales strategy as per business imperatives.
- Responsible for managing the product portfolio
- Ensuring adequate focus for Oils and Foods portfolio
- Maximizing sales revenues from the various product lines
- Expansion of the product & customer base and development of a strong brand value for all products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the sales and distribution strategy in line with organizational strategy and growth imperatives in coordination with Area Sales Manager
- Deliver on sales targets for all products under supervision of Area Sales Manager
- Implement blueprint for market launch for respective geographies handled in consultation with Area Sales Manager
- Implement strategy for effective market penetration - through various channels; deliver on sales targets across channels in coordination with Area Sales Manager
- Report competitor performance and help in acquiring market research data for identifying new opportunities and executing plans for strategic sales initiatives.
- Ensures execution of sales strategy in line with organizational strategy and growth imperatives and periodic review of the same
- Drives appointment of Distributors/Super Distributors/Sub Stockists as per requirements of each territory
- Implements guidelines for an effective distribution channel and robust dealer networks and formulates the distribution strategy
- Implements sales channel strategy and ensures adequate coverage of all products through general, modern trade & other alternative sales channels
- Regularly monitors the effectiveness of all distribution channels, plans for their development and optimization
- Ensures adequate focus on nascent channels
- Ensures smooth and effective rollout of trade discounts, promotions and schemes in line with functional objectives
- Assist in implementation of sales infrastructure and effective IT enablement/systems as against the plan for the year in line with growth imperatives
- Ensures timely collections of all required forms & documentation and preparation of all MIS Reports etc.
- Reviews and analyzes variances and takes required action where necessary
Experienced from Food Industry is mandatory.
