Sales Executive/Senior Sales Executive - BFSI (8-10 yrs)
Sales & Business Development :
- Drive sales targets for the assigned territory through effective management of general trade channels.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share and improve sales performance in the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with key distributors, retailers, and wholesalers to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
Channel Management :
- Develop and implement strategies to manage the general trade channel effectively, ensuring product availability and visibility.
- Monitor and support the activities of distributors and retail partners to ensure sales growth and consistent product flow.
- Implement promotions and schemes to drive secondary sales and support the distribution network.
Market Analysis & Strategy :
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the management team to refine sales strategies and improve product performance in the market.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Territory Management :
- Manage sales operations within the assigned territory, ensuring effective route planning and territory coverage.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, inventory, and budget, to maximize sales and market penetration.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per the company's objectives.
Team Management (If applicable) :
- Manage and mentor a team of junior sales executives or merchandisers (if applicable).
- Set performance targets, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure team productivity and motivation.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers while also identifying new customer segments.
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with key accounts and retail outlets to create win-win scenarios for both parties.
Reporting & Coordination :
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and successes.
- Work closely with the regional and zonal teams to align on sales strategies and ensure - consistent communication.
- Provide feedback on inventory levels, stock movements, and distributor performance.
Promotional Activities :
- Implement and manage trade promotions and sales schemes to boost sales in general trade channels.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective execution of marketing activities at the retail level.
Key Skills & Requirements :
- Strong experience in General Trade in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the assigned territory.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Regular).
- Experience in managing sales in General Trade in the FMCG industry for at least 8-10 years.
