Sales Executive - Hotel Rooms (1-2 yrs)
Job Description :
- The ability to follow up on all inquiries and maintain a good relationship with all departments in the hotel.
- Replying to all group related emails.
- The ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
- The ability to respond promptly to all customer inquiries and all sales bookings assigned. Follow-up on all Direct queries to increase the conversion ratio. (No RSO) 7% (Corporate MICE unassigned geographical areas and Weeding queries and direct wedding queries from unassigned region
- Handling MICE events at the Hotel
- Handling Show arounds and being proficient helping the guests understanding setups.
- The ability to maintain all client files in accordance with hotel procedures.
- The ability to attend and participate in all required meetings.
- The ability to keep the Sales & Conference Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance, so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
- The ability to coordinate with other departments to ensure the quality of guest satisfaction.
- The ability to assume the responsibilities of the Sales & Conference Manager in his absence.
- The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- The ability to prepare reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- The ability to liaise with the Reservations Department related to all group bookings and requirements.
- The ability to setup and control an effective trace filing system, solicitation and follow up procedures.
- The ability to ensure all appropriate personnel are informed of any last-minute changes or special requirements for a group's function(s).
- The ability to communicate any special room requests with the Housekeeping department.
