Sales Engineer - Automation (4-7 yrs)
Our client is a leading MNC with primary business in the manufacture and sale of automation components, equipment and systems and medical equipment. It functions as a partner to help innovate worldwide manufacturing through expertise in sensing and control technology and also enable manufacturers to operate with greater productivity and streamlined efficiency. They believe and stand for making innovation happen. One of their division manufactures Machine & Motion Controllers, Integrated Controller-Amplifiers, Development / Communication / HMI Software, and CNC Systems.
As Engineer-Sales in Automotive department you will be responsible to focus on analysing the Automotive segment (in Industrial Automation industry) trends and capture the market to foster sales in the specific time frame. To aggressively sale the entire range of CLIENT products & its solutions in order to penetrate the Automotive market of the assigned region & leverage the organisation strength.
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible to orchestrate effective marketing plans and achieve the sales targets in the assigned region stipulated by the management.
- Responsible to execute & perform basis the monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans and strategies as per the business sales forecast.
- To achieve the targets assigned by the management.
- To identify the new customers and foster the sales revenue .
- Creating account plans for each (KEY) account and manage the execution plan against each of these plans.
- To maintain the healthy relationships & sales with the existing customers in the assigned region.
- Co-ordinate and build positive relationship within different department/s of the organization to deliver the best services as per the commitment given to customer, in-line with the customer expectations.
- To identify training needs of the team in-line with the business sales objectives.
- Develop & maintain good network with customers and Channel Partners.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience of industrial automation sales in the Automotive segment
- Core Functional Knowledge
- PLC, HMI, SCADA, Motion Servos, Sensors, Safety Vision and safety product experience would be an added advantage.
- Experience to handle big End user and/or Auto OEMs and/or Auto Component Manufacturers.
- Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details
- Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.
- To travel across India as per business needs
Education :
UG : B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
