Sales Development Role - Outbound Process - SaaS (2-5 yrs)
Prospect and generate leads : Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to identify and engage with potential customers.
Qualify leads : Conduct thorough research to gather information about prospects and understand their pain points.
Nurture leads : Engage with leads through multiple touchpoints, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to educate them about Paperflite's value proposition and build relationships. Understand their challenges and needs to position Paperflite as a solution.
Schedule product demonstrations : Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule product demos for qualified leads. Ensure a smooth handoff of leads to the sales team.
- Leverage our tech stack, including Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Klenty, and HubSpot, along with intent data, to effectively engage with prospects.
Maintain CRM database : Enter accurate and up-to-date information about leads, activities, and interactions into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Track progress and update sales opportunities accordingly.
Requirements :
- Proven experience of over 2 to 5 years as an SDR or in a similar sales role, preferably in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
- Strong communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with prospects effectively and articulate the value of Paperflite's solutions.
- Sales mindset : A passion for sales and a drive to exceed targets. Ability to handle rejection and persist in pursuing leads.
- Self-motivated and proactive : Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage time efficiently. Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results.
- Technical aptitude : Comfortable using sales software and tools, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Relationship-building skills : Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with prospects. Active listening skills to understand customer pain points and position Paperflite as a solution.
- Organizational skills : Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
