Sales Development Role - IT (4-7 yrs)
- IIT startup in Bangalore - Work from office
- We are looking for energetic and driven Sales Development Representatives to join us! This is a unique opportunity to work with founders directly to build the sales function from scratch
As an SDR, you will :
- Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
- Work directly with founders to discover opportunities from leads, and set appointments for those leads.
- Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
- Understand the company's product enough to provide a high-level introduction.
- Log, track, and maintain outbound activity.
- Work closely with founders and attend customer meetings as required.
Ideal candidate for this role will be :
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales, prospecting role
- Prior experience in the software/SaaS industry is a strong plus
- A University degree from an accredited institution
- Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite. Knowledge and experience with CRM tools is a strong plus.
- Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
- Excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
