Sales Development Role - Electronics Product (3-9 yrs)
Roles/Responsbilities :
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for the following :
- Identify and target potential customers from the specified target companies and gold partner firms.
- Research and analyze market trends and competition to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network within the SMB market segment.
- Assist in creating sales strategies and developing a robust pipeline of leads for the sales team.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential customers to move them through the sales cycle.
- Generate and qualify leads through an effective lead qualification process.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Provide timely and accurate sales information to management for reporting purposes.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and progress.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent pre-sales support and addressing customer inquiries.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions.
Requirements :
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:
- 2-4 years of experience in early-stage startups or enterprise startups with a focus on the SMB market.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and closing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with potential customers.
- Strong network and familiarity with the target companies and gold partner firms would be a plus.
