Sales Development Manager - Insurance (2-4 yrs)
A Sales Development Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the process of generating and qualifying leads to support the sales team in closing deals. This role focuses on the early stages of the sales funnel-identifying prospects, engaging them, and nurturing relationships until they are ready for the sales team to take over.
Key Responsibilities:
-Identifying and sourcing new potential clients or customers through market research, networking, or using various lead-generation tools.
- Assessing whether leads meet the criteria to become potential customers, ensuring they are the right fit for the business.
- Managing and tracking leads through the sales funnel, making sure that leads are progressing towards becoming sales opportunities.
- Developing relationships with potential clients through cold calls, emails, social media outreach, and other methods to create interest in the company's products or services.
Skills & Qualities:
- Ability to clearly communicate value propositions and engage prospects.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and match them with products or services.
- Sales development can require dealing with rejection, so persistence and resilience are important qualities.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track leads and manage customer interactions.
- Collaboration with the sales team to ensure leads are followed up with and converted into customers.
Candidate Requirement:
- Gradutation is Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or Marketing
CTC:up to 3.50 LPA + Incentive +other benefits
