Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Sales Development Representative.
The Job
You will be responsible for :
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
Lead Generation : Proactively identifying potential customers and businesses that could benefit from the SaaS product. This could involve various methods, such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media prospecting, attending events, and using sales intelligence tools.
Qualifying Leads : Assessing the suitability of leads based on specific criteria set by the sales team. This helps ensure that the sales team focuses their efforts on high-potential prospects.
Conducting Outreach : Engaging with leads through phone calls, emails, or other communication channels to introduce our SaaS product, explain its benefits, and gauge their interest and needs.
Setting Appointments : Scheduling meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales representatives responsible for closing deals.
Nurturing Relationships : Building and maintaining relationships with potential customers over time. Some leads might not be ready to buy immediately, so nurturing these relationships can lead to future opportunities.
Collaborating with the Sales Team : Working closely with the sales team to share insights, provide feedback on lead quality, and refine the sales process.
Reporting and Analytics : Keeping track of activities, lead interactions, and outcomes using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Providing regular reports on progress and performance.
Product Knowledge : Developing a deep understanding of the SaaS product, its features, benefits, and use cases, to effectively communicate its value to potential customers.
Continuous Learning : Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and sales techniques to improve your effectiveness as an SDR.
Ideal Candidate :
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) role, ideally within the IT Software industry.
- You possess solid expertise in Enterprise Sales and Direct Sales.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
