Sales Coordinator - Manufacturing/Engineering Goods (3-5 yrs)
JOB PURPOSE:
This will be a key role as this person will be in-charge for smooth execution right from enquiry, delivery and receiving payment. S/he will be responsible to bridge the gaps between departments with excellent co-ordination and provide support to the Sales & Marketing team.
Internal/External Co-ordination:
- S/he will act as a bridge between clients, management and Sales & Marketing Team
- S/he will be accountable to timely and accurately respond to each and every in-coming sales inquiry, via telephone and e-mail.
- S/he will be responsible to immediately forward those inquiries to the concerned sales team and aggressively follow up with them on the execution status.
- Handle processing of all orders with accuracy and timelines
- Ensure timely delivery and optimum client satisfaction.
- S/he will be responsible to check and send Quotations, Proforma Invoices and D.O. to all clients
- Co-ordinate with Sales executives to make sales appointments, follow up on orders, tracking leads and customer orders.
Sales Support :
- S/he will fully support the sales team by managing calendars, organizing clients files, documents and communicating client information to the sales executives, management or other staff time to time
- Keep inventory checks of sales/marketing materials (i.e. business cards, product brochures, product samples, etc.).
- Assist the marketing team in preparing and organizing promotional material for events/exhibitions
- Generate new leads and provide customer database to the sales team for converting them into prospective clients
- Monitor receipt of sales reports and ensuring their entry into the CRM
- Analyse sales reports and prepare MIS for Sales Manager's perusal.
- Maintain daily MIS and updating real time data of customers- status
Customer Support :
- S/he will be responsible for all back-office communications with new and existing customers in terms of emails / phone calls and provide after-sales support as required.
- Co-ordinate and ensure all orders are processed in line with customers- requirements till delivery.
- Responsible for follow-ups for payment from clients as per due date.
- Supervise letters and sample parcels for dispatch to clients
- Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems, or work with sales executives to inform clients of delays.
- Participate in exhibitions and ready to visit customers in and around Mumbai
Other desired skills:
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Eye for detail
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to multitask.
