Sales Coordinator (3-5 yrs)
Job Description
This position is designed and responsible for performing the following functions -
- Sales support: Supporting Sales managers in their daily activities
- Facilitation and monitoring of Sales processes, including coordination with other business functions (Pricing, Risk, Legal, Delivery, Alliances, Activation, Service Ops, Finance)
- Sales planning and reporting: Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting of various business metrics, analyzing and publishing reports/dashboards for business reviews with Regional Heads/Account Managers and CEO, tracking and ensuring up-to-date information in CRM and other Sales systems (revenue dashboard, etc)
- Facilitation and tracking of special projects, deals aimed at increased sales volumes and sales cycle optimization
- Actively coordinate, with the Sales team, activities to accomplish Sales targets and assumes responsibility for the coordination of daily activities, being the central point of contact. Develop strong relationships across internal and external support groups; enable effective teamwork to ensure key deliverables are met.
Principal Accountabilities
- Drive collaboration between Sales team (Regional Head/Account Manager) and other business functions (Alliances, Pricing, Risk, Legal, Delivery, Activation and Operations). Support daily operational aspects of Sales process. Support timely fulfilment of Sales phases. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Coordinate regular interlocks within Sales and between Sales and other functions.
- Manage and support (extract, analyze, report) all key Sales data/information needs of the Sales Head
- Drive identification of appropriate business metrics and ensure those metrics are tracked to benefit Sales processes and achievements vis-a-vis targets
- Manage Sales CRM system - Ensure data integrity, availability of dashboards and reports, carry our enhancements as per business requirements
- Track Sales plans execution for every Region and every Account Manager through CRM reports and dashboards, and support the Sales Head in Sales reviews and in tracking follow-up actions
- Publish end-of-month and end-of-quarter Sales dashboards to Execom
- Manage communication process (within the Sales team and with key stakeholders in other functions), ensuring that key updates and management information reports are tracked and delivered on time
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
- Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures
- Build strong relationships across departments to enable information sharing
Skills and Attributes for the role
- Experience in (or good knowledge of) overall Sales process (across all sales stages). Preferably in a similar Sales Ops role.
- Advanced quantitative and data interpretation skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple work-streams simultaneously, prioritize tasks and effectively manage time
- Excellent planning, development and organizing skills
- Structured thought process and strong execution
- Strong PC (office tools) user - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum requirement (MS Project also preferred)
- Disciplined (strict adherence to process, end objectives and plans/timelines)
- Hands-on, detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong relationship, collaboration & influencing skills
