Role and Responsibility :

- Create quality Backlinks : Social Bookmarking, Business Listings, Classified Ads, Forum Participation, Guest Blogging, Relationship-based Link Building, Skyscraper Technique, and Broken Link Building.

- Knowledgeable of robots.txt, sitemaps (HTML & XML), canonical issues, redirections, AMP, content creation, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions.

- Perform site specific keyword research, competitive analysis and detailed technical analysis of the company's website/s to ensure the health of the website in the online space.

- Working with popular keyword tools (Google Keyword Planner, Moz, Wordtracker, Keyword Discovery etc).

- On-page knowledge: Alt tags, Title tag, Anchor text, Meta Description, Meta Keywords, Image Optimization, Content Optimization, HTML Validation as per w3.org standards etc.

- Follow SEO trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practices.

- Pay particular attention to any significant Google algorithmic changes.

Areas of Responsibility :

- Participate in industry-related group discussions, online forums, and target the audience effectively.

- Track & troubleshoot ranking related issues and building SEO reports.

- Conduct on-site and off-site analysis of our competitors.

- Update older content and add effective calls to action (CTAs) to improve user engagement.

- Track important SEO metrics including organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page.

- Manage and maintain updates for large keyword lists.

- Ensure that work is completed in time and at a high standard of quality.

Requirements :

- Min. 1 - 2 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization.

- Freshers with a professional course or diploma in digital marketing and knowledge of latest SEO trends and techniques can also apply.

- Desired: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations.
