Asst. Key Account Manager - Ecommerce (Quick Commerce and Marketplace)

Job Summary:

Key Account Manager - Ecommerce (Quick Commerce and Marketplace) will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of quick commerce platforms (e.g., Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto) and marketplace channels (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart). This role will involve, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize sales, customer experience, and profitability in the ecommerce domain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning:

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

- Define sales, revenue, and profitability targets for each platform.

- Planning of projections on monthly basis and monitoring of inventory freshness across hubs.

2. Channel Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with quick commerce and marketplace platforms.

- Regularly monitor platform performance and optimize product visibility, pricing, and promotions.

3. Product and Catalogue Management:

- Ensure accurate and attractive listings with updated product descriptions, images, and pricing.

- Optimize product discoverability through SEO, keyword strategy, and A+ content.

- Manage inventory across platforms to avoid stock outs or overstocking issues.

4. Campaigns and Promotions:

- Plan and execute platform-specific marketing campaigns and promotional events.

- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to drive traffic and conversions.

- Track ROI and performance metrics of campaigns to ensure optimal spending.

5. Operations and Logistics:

- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless order processing, packaging, and delivery.

- Monitor order fulfilment rates and minimize SLA breaches or delivery delays.

- Collaborate with platforms to implement quick commerce-specific operational requirements.

6. Analytics and Reporting:

- Track and analyses sales data, customer behavior, and platform performance.

- Generate actionable insights to improve traffic, conversion rates, and AOV (Average Order Value).

- Prepare regular reports on platform performance for senior management.

7. Compliance and Financials:

- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and legal requirements.

- Oversee reconciliation of payments, returns, and platform fees.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.

- 3 years of experience in ecommerce, with at least 2 years in quick commerce and marketplace management.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, business models, and digital trends.

- Analytical mindset with expertise in tools like Excel, Power BI and navigating platform dashboards.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

- Revenue growth and profitability from quick commerce and marketplace platforms.

- Platform-specific metrics such as GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), conversion rate, and fulfilment rate.

- Accuracy and quality of listings, ratings, and reviews.

- Campaign ROI and customer acquisition costs.

- Operational efficiency metrics such as SLA adherence and order processing time.
