Job Description for Content writer:

The Digital Marketing Content Writer will be expected to work both autonomously, with limited supervision, and interactively with other team members, demonstrating a commitment toward shared goals and a willingness to take initiative. In addition, you will be expected to deliver content that meets the timelines set by the organization. Using material gathered from internal and external sources, interviews subject matter experts and/or stakeholders Works with product team to ensure accuracy of content. Serves as liaison with other teams to ensure that web content is consistent with wireframes and visual design, text, graphics, etc., are consistent with other types of corporate communication, products and services.

Writer will also need to check published UI content against baseline documentation and advocate for correct version to display in live site

- Work collaboratively with Digital Marketing team to execute content marketing strategy.

- Work with multiple owners of particular content to revise measure and ensure consistent, accurate content.

- Research, write and edit original SEO ready content for company websites, blogs, online communication, and content assets including case studies, emails, newsletters, technical documentation, social and more.

- Repurpose and optimize existing content for digital channels.

- Ensure content is aligned with personas and stages of the customers- journey

- Generate content for websites, blogs, emails, advertisements and social media

- Copy-editing and proof reading articles and other web content

Education And Knowledge

- Bachelor's degree in English or Journalism or equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience.

- 3+ years demonstrated experience writing/editing/publishing content specific for the web

- Must be able to write content optimized for SEO

- Background in search engine optimization

Experience

- Experience researching and reporting on relevant industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for new or improved SEO content

- Demonstrated experience writing blog posts

- Experience with content management systems and strong understanding of content work flows

Competencies

- Flexible writing style to address multiple audiences while maintaining the brand voice

- Ability to develop new topics, research, and find a unique spin on existing topic
