Rupeek - Director - Creative Graphic Art (10-14 yrs)
The Opportunity
Rupeek is a rapidly growing, online asset-backed lending platform operating in Bangalore. We aim to disrupt the traditional brick-and-mortar lending model by making credit cheaper for borrowers and lending more valuable for lenders with our low operational costs and credit evaluation tools. We currently operate in the Gold Loan vertical and aim to build a tech-driven new-age financial services powerhouse. We are growing quickly in our niche and are looking for energetic, data-driven, performance-oriented thinkers to join hands. We are funded by one of India's top VCs with a decade long track record of funding successful ventures and are currently in expansion mode.
Your Role & Responsibilities :
- Building an environment for the creative team to work in and overseeing their ideas and projects
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion
- Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
- Developing ideas for all creatives advertising or promotional campaigns
- Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy and the standard of output across the org or department
- Pitching concepts to clients if you work at an agency, or presenting to directors if you work in-house
- Overseeing all digital & Offline Design projects and being responsible for the overall quality & delivery
- Communicating and creating an overall creative team vision by defining the direction and goals for the group
- Setting and maintaining creative standards for the brand
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
- Build & maintain Brand-Book
- Organize and plan for multiple projects and make timely and quick decisions in order to meet project deadlines
- Help evolve and elevate the Rupeek's brand by creating and maintaining a high visual bar across all digital & offline touch points.
Skills you need to have :
- The consistent ability to produce and communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts
- High levels of motivation and perseverance with a strong sense of conviction in your ideas, plus the skills and confidence to express them
- Ability to translate/adapt digital ideas to offline to and Vice versa
Leadership skills - Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
- Can translate communication brief/s into creative ideas, from ideation to execution.
- Can think medium-specific ideas which can translate into larger canvases
Persona :
- Bachelor of Arts, Graphic Design or comparable field experience is encouraged
- Online portfolio that displays examples of work
- Strong Communication skills, aesthetic sense with a bent for copy
- Quick thinker, solution oriented who can turn around briefs while being able to multitask ongoing projects
- Start-up oriented person with a commitment to be available 24- 7 on the basis of requirement
- Currently Sr Art Director / Associate Creative Director
Experience :
- 10+ years agency or studio experience focusing on brands and digital & Traditional based clients
- Proven design experience creating marketing materials, displaying excellent typography, compositing, brandbook creation, Print & Digital media
- Must have 6+ years experience in Mainline Agency / Advertising Agency / Creative Agencies. (At least worked in anyone Ogilvy, LoweLintas, DDB Mudra, JWT, Wunderman Thompson, BBDO, 22ft Tribal, Grey Marketing, Leo burnett, Mccann, Publicis, Dentsu, Webchutney, etc)
- Should have experience in creating, crafting & executing 360 media campaigns, inclusive of Videos/ TV commercials, Print ads, Digital ads
- Should have managed at least a team of 4 .
