Rubix - Search Engine Performance Marketer (2-4 yrs)
About the job :
- We are seeking a creative and analytical performance marketer with strong experience in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Video, Display, Discovery & App Install), as well as Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads and Google Analytics.
- You should be able to demonstrate solid ability in analyzing performance marketing campaigns, providing accurate insights / interpretations as well as recommendations based on a given dataset. Your skill will be assessed further through a brief challenge that will be provided later on as you progress in your application.
- In this role, you will leverage your technical and industry expertise, critical thinking skills and passion for all things marketing and guide key strategic and tactical decisions while producing and communicating high quality insights and reports to clients representing a diverse and growing portfolio of business.
- You should be able to produce and communicate high-quality insights and reports while operating independently.
- This is a fully remote position and the role will require someone to work following the New York timezone, within the hours of 9AM-6PM.
About You :
- Experienced in search engine marketing (ideally e-commerce)
- Experience with additional performance marketing channels, including paid social, display advertising, or email marketing preferred
- Strong data analysis skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and advanced functions such as pivot tables, calculated fields, and vlookups required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to execute digital marketing campaigns without error
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including the ability to create and update slideshows and decks
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team in the management and execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and ability to demonstrate alternative campaign success metrics not found within the Google Ads UI
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Shopify would be ideal but not required
Responsibilities :
- Implement and manage all aspects of paid search, shopping, and YouTube campaigns
- Perform day-to-day optimization for bid strategies, quality score and ad position
- Write, edit and test ad copy
- Optimize campaigns for target CPA and target ROAS
- Conduct keyword research and profitability analysis based on historical metrics/data
- Create and optimize Google Shopping feeds
- Speaking with clients and building presentations.
