Job Description - Sr Copywriter
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Senior Copywriter to join our team. As a Senior Copywriter you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication guidelines, tone & expression of the brand across touchpoints, in a manner that it clear, precise & engaging for each platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan & execute all content requirements in a calendarized manner
- Be the custodian for brand tone, expression & values in any communication that goes out on the brand
- Guide designers to keep quality check on brand codes & design language pertinent to the brand
- Create robust creatives ideas along with agency/designers as needed
- Adhere to timelines on requirements of creatives as required across touchpoints
- Measure & analyse the success of every campaign
- Optimise copy and create experiments on digital campaigns to have robust learnings & better deployments
- Monitor SEO, user engagement and suggest content optimization for website and other platforms
- Build a strong community and be a "reputation" custodian for the brand on social
- Work on loyalty-based activations to engage the consumer base & provide communications that improves consumer affinity towards the brand
Requirements - Skills & Qualification
- 5-8 years of experience as a Copywriter or similar role in agency/in-house creative team
- Preferably with Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Created content & written copy for multiple brands (preferably D2C) with strong digital & ecommerce presence
- Hands on experience in writing orginal copy for performance ads, product video ads, emailers, banners, storytelling scripts, website, point of sale material, blogs, articles,
influencer integrations & personal branding content
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and other social media best practices
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Understanding & using SEO to increase indirect traffic and improve web traffic metrics like session time
- Basic keyword search knowledge
- Audit all communications from time to time & make suitable corrections
- Excellent project management skills, time management, worked with/led creative teams, ability to think "consumer" out & create campaign ideas
- High ownership, agility and thinking on-ground needed
