- RONDO's headquarters are in Burgdorf in Switzerland- the RONDO Group has seven subsidiaries and two sales offices worldwide.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and devising strategic plans to expand our presence in the market segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify key industry trends, customer needs, and competi-tive landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and segments within India.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including industry influencers, potential clients, and government bodies.
- Develop a service organization to fulfill high after sales demands of industrial customers
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
- Develop and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Business Development:
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with the company's objectives.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Drive the development of new product lines or services based on market demand and feedback.
Hands-On Mentality:
- Demonstrate a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide guidance, support, and assistance in complex sales situations.
- Take ownership of key client relationships and be directly involved in strategic accounts.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales and business development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on progress, challenges, and opportunity-ties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and business development in the industrial goods sector/Bakery/Confectionery.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian bakery market (artisan/ industrial/ hotels/ restaurants/ catering), including key players, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successful market development and revenue growth.
