Marketing Designer for boutique growth marketing agency

OVERVIEW :

RocketShip HQ( http://RocketShipHQ.com | http://HowThingsGrow.co ) is a boutique growth marketing firm that helps leading mobile apps grow faster. We- re looking for an experienced marketing designer with excellent design & communication skills to be our second design hire. We offer an opportunity for the right candidate to eventually own & drive design initiatives for cutting-edge brands for their ads on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat & other platforms.

This will be a contract/part-time position to begin - with potential to grow into a full-time engagement.

(We're a fully distributed remote team).

SUMMARY :

- This is not an entry-level position. You MUST have at least 2 years experience and a strong portfolio. You must have a proven track record of working on challenging marketing collateral(display & video ads).

- We're an early stage startup - and we move fast. This means there is tremendous opportunity for learning and growth from working with top-tier Silicon Valley companies & reporting directly to the CEO - but this is also not for everyone. To succeed at this role, you must have shown a track record of proactiveness - and of working on design that drives metrics forward.

- You're comfortable communicating with & working with marketers & executive teams to ensuring timely and high-quality design work.

- You are receptive to data-driven feedback about your design from clients as well as our team.

- You're coachable. You'll report directly to the CEO - and work closely with the execs & CEOs of our client companies, many of which are leading mobile apps. You'll show an ability to learn & be open to feedback.

- You're organized. You are comfortable working with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Basecamp etc. You make sure everything is in its place.

- You have strong written communication skills - and you're comfortable working remotely. We're a fully distributed team - and your success in this role depends on your ability to communicate clearly through writing and on getting things done via email, Slack and project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp etc.

- You're comfortable using & learning new tools to communicate, collaborate & create.

KEY SKILLS :

- Graphic design, video design, video editing, motion design, animation, photoshop.
