RineX - Manager - Business Development (1-2 yrs)
- We are looking for an on-ground Business Development Manager to scale up our top-of-the-funnel acquisition of customers in educational institutions. The ideal candidate should be an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision-makers within enterprise accounts. You will need to discover qualified opportunities by targeted outbound prospecting through telemarketing and personnel visits to the Institutions.
Your KRA's include the following but are not limited to :
- Playing a vital role in pipeline growth & revenue attainment through the generation of Sales Qualified Leads and scheduling of the first meeting of prospects with the Sales Team.
- Initiate telephonic contact with suspects and prospects, creating initial interest and positioning
- Initiate/Accomplish various call campaigns, meet and/or exceed the assigned quota of connections per day.
- Present key selling points, features, and benefits while remaining focused on the prospect's needs and expectations.
- Build credibility and strong working relationships with decision-makers who do not show initial interest in our offerings, but may require our solutions in the future
- Persuade right party contacts for in-person or on-phone meetings with the sales representatives
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Manage the complete outbound sales funnel, talk to prospects, understand their requirements, and enable them.
What an ideal candidate must have?
- Must have experience in selling educational products in B2C or B2B.
- The candidate should be comfortable with regular sales visits to institutions 5 Days a week.
- At least 1-2 years of EdTech experience is mandatory
- Strong grip on the English Language
- Has extensively worked on a B2B campaign (most preferable)
- Internet savvy and experience with Word and Excel, familiarity with a CRM system, preferably Zoho, is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of demonstrating strong articulation of product selling points via phone, email, and F2F interaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong listening skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements.
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection.
- Self-motivated to work independently.
Nice-to-Have :
- Experience working in EdTech Sales
- Experience in leading a cold calling team for corporate/Institutional sales.
